Those 4.5 gallon sporty tanks are awsome. I had bought one for a rigid triumph I had a long time ago. It was made by Mustang, not sure if they make those any more. Looke dlike a traditional 2.2 Sporty tank but huge.

The one I had before this one was a 3.5 gallon Mustang tank made by Paughco. I really like the streamlined look of my new tank and won't change to a bigger one. Like HKR says: don't pass by any gas stations LOL.

No doubt about taking more frequent breaks. On hot days I like to drink more water and riding has a way of shaking it out of you .

I remember Texas being pretty sparse in places LOL. I have just pulled over next to a guard rail and let it fly when there was no other choice.

Florence is really nice, small town that sits on the coast. Great place to raise a family to.

They encourage a rider to drink water and stay hydrated on long summer day rides which doesn't help the prostate deal about frequent urination, lol.

After a while you memorize how long it will run on reserve. I got two and a half gallon fat bob tanks on my Iron-head. It usually makes 11 miles on reserve. But with those gas tanks when it runs out one can lean the bike way over towards the petcock side and get some gas out of one tank into the other.
