Bike is finally off the rag...:rolleyes:Short run last night and my rear brake was sticking:witsend: Freed that up and the bike seems to be running good..man,what a job... The re-useable oil filter I bought paid for itself already, did about 5 oil changes and not much fluff getting caught in the filter,50 mile run to work this morning, then another oil change and check filter...I think we may finally be done...

    Ready to roll!!

Naw...I certainly ain't gonna waste my money on a lottery ticket :D On the bright side though I know I'll get the whole season outta these Commander II's:rolleyes:

The sensor wire looks like is one piece all the way back to the connectors under the seat...not gonna find one of them at NAPA or CarQuest:(

Another positive outta this is when we shined a light in the sensor hole and rolled the engine there was nothing but clean oil sloshin' around on the flywheels, checked and cleaned the oil filter again and there was barely anything in it,just a couple of tiny tiny pieces of thread...so we can check that job as "complete"

We'll leave that as a mystery CB...doesn't matter who did it,the result was the same....we did drink a boat load of beer over the winter there, but we don't spin wrenches and drink at the same time, part of the reason it took so long to do;)

That's too bad cowboy, kinda sucks your knees didn't fully recover...at least you can still ride the light dependable Evo:)

called local dealer yesterday, couldn't get me a crank sensor until Friday at the earliest,so I called the other dealer in NS,they had one in stock and put it on the bus, should be able to pick it up on my way home from work also taking my front wheel out to my buddies to mount the Michelin Commander II on the front...should be ready to roll again tonight...
    I'm crossing my fingers....:D
