    Hey new to the forum.
Question: is there any way to get around the engine capacity restrictions for your RE's?
It says 660mL, however, I have a great opportunity to get something larger. Wondering if there is any bullshit way to get around this restriction?

You'll need an Aussie to answer that question completely, but it may be that you could build a custom bike to beat the system. Or just come to the USA and ride what ya darn well please...;)

I"m gonna need an extra jar of Vegimite to understand whatever the hell that question means. 660ml of what, oil, engine size, condoms? And what is an RE, Royal Enfield, Raging Enema?

RE is a motorcycle restriction code for new riders. A load of BS, really, but what can you expect from the dominant politics there. So sad, Aussie's have made themselves prisoners of their government...you'd think, knowing they're history, they'd want more freedom, not less.

Gotcha, so basically ol Fing wants a bigger bike than the government says he's qualified to ride.....

Here in HD world, we do that all the time, they sell hop up kits, bigger piston/cylinders, for more HP/TQ, you can take a 88 to 95 for example, 103 to 107 easy stuff. For the bigger power, there are full kits to bore and stroke without having to machine the block. Over some point you'll have to bore the cases to get bigger.

Only way you can pull that off is to tear down the engine, change the crank and bore the cylinders, slap in bigger pistons and bobs yer uncle....

You'd want to be sure the parts are there, easy way is if the bike you have has a bigger cousin, do some research to see if the bigger bikes engine bits will work on your engines cases, you want to keep the stock cases because of the VIN that is the key number they'll look at if you get pulled over.

How long is the RE, if it's a year, I'd take that money you'd spend on building it up, save it, ride the 600 and then sell it the day you gain your freedom and take the extra cash to buy the litre bike...
