I've see guys on Gold Wing and Harley Trikes pounding
the curves hard in Western Carolina on the Cherahola...

They can handle you just have to learn how to handle them...

That Can-Am Spyder is a rocketship I'd get one mainly
because CB doesn't like it and you can't put a thundermax on them... :roflmao:

But with 100 RWH out of the 998CC engine 5 speed semi auto trans
    they can move...

A buddy who races got a Spyder. He owns more than 30 bikes. He loves the CanAm BUT if you hit the brakes in a curve, it staightens out and moves a lane over instantly. He particularly loves the paddle shifter.

A buddy of mine down the street bought it for his wife and sold it to My buddy Ricky.
He took the money and got her a Harley Ultra Trike

My Wife really, really liked them, she even wanted one , I was saying you don't know what yer talkin about. YOu like what you see.
Ricky let her ride them and she came back and said Thank God he let me ride it.
I really , really thought I wanted one. But I'm real glad I rode it cause I can say you was right.

Spyder has a patent for a trike that when you turn the front wheels leans too.

My wife rides a lot with me, normally she is on back of my bike cause sometimes I git to riding pretty fast and I might ride 200-500 miles in a day.
The most was a little over 750 miles 3 yrs ago.
I'm really slowing down in my older age.

We go to all kinds of Demo days. I try to git my wife to ride just about anything she can hold up just for the experience.
Doing that she leans more about the bikes than anybody can tell her.
I try to push her into anything that I can for the experience.
She always says, she would of never tried a lot of things if I didn't push her a little.

When I used to Bass fish all the time I pushed her into it. She was pretty good too.

I didn't try and talk the wife into riding her own as a matter of fact I tried talking her out of a trike at first. But she was insistent so we bought a trike kit and I built the trike in my shop that winter. When she rode it, well it was like I lost the lady on the back seat. She has put a lot of miles on the that first Honda Trike. She now has her Harley Trike and loves it. She has really taken to riding, so its a trike but you should see the smiles on her face. :)

If yer wife is Happy that's all that counts.
My wife really, really likes riding with me. She can talk to me, I only git to see her on the weekends.
A lot of times I git on the interstate and cruise about 80 mph or so.
Rode to Lousiana a couple weeks ago.
No way could she run that speed for a long time on the sportster.

The 1st spyder my wife got on she tried to grab the front brakes.
Only to find out, it don't have front brakes.
That really , freaked her out.
She took Riders Edge about 4 yrs ago.
They went Wed - friday nite.
Then all day saturday and sunday with the bikes on the black top.
    This was in December.
The way she was taught she uses front brakes.

I ain't never been to no class, I don't know what yer suppose to do.
I been ridin both street bikes and dirt bikes since 64 when I was a kid.
I react different than probaly you.

And you talk about countersteer. All you will do is confuse me.

Had more than one dude that gives the classes at the Harley dealer say,if you've been riding as long as you have and yer still here, I wouldn't want to change anything you are doing cause yer doing something right.:D

Ask Chucktx what yer suppose to do, he knows which foot to put down 1st and everything. I don't even think about it. Too much for me to keep up with.
