We stayed in Indiana in a motel about 120 miles short of the KOA but we were drained. We got up at 3:30 am to to ride in the cooler weather. Well. To our surprise it was raining hard with lightning. So we saddled up and headed out in the dark. We missed the highway that by passed Indianapolis and wound up in the heart of the city. We stopped at a gas station across from the speedway. Steve in our group asked a guy for directions. Guy says you got a buck. He would not hive us directions until we all gave him a buck. We all had a good laugh. We rode another 650 that day.

Were in the KOA in DC now will post more later laundry is done.

[IMG]DC is unbelievable I can't believe the way people drive here, very scary. The Vice Present of KOA called the KOA here and told them to get us off the ground so we are now in air conditioned cabins. Went swimming in the pool and just relaxed today.

Pics of wall. Name of a lost friend William Choi. We had a huge crowd of people taking are photos of us all. One girl came up to us thanking us all and crying, her dad was killed there. When I get more photos will send more.

Awesome FLHT! I have been thinking a lot about getting my dad to go down there with me at some point so he can go see his boy hood friend that died in Nam. I think that he needs to do that before the bucket gets kicked.

I am glad that you are safe. have a safe ride back.:D
