    Saw a new Doc today and after an exam I'm being sent to see a Nuerosurgen.
    Said they will call me this week but looks like surgery.

    FLHTBiker, All I can give you is from personal experience. My wife was diagnosed with cancer and she got online and educated herself on everything about her cancer. If your going to fight, knowledge is a great weapon. Knowing will also help you to know the right questions to ask. My wife is now cancer free for 2 years. I hope you can find the same peace of mind and good health. PS be nice to the wife she is going through this with you lol.

    Been doing a lot of research on it and we both have gotten a lot of knowledge about it now. My wife went into the room with me to talk with the Doc, she had to cause I can no longer walk, she had to push the wheel chair. Yea I'm in a wheel chair to get around now. She asked a lot of questions and she is very concerned. She was thinking that the hospital was just to busy to get me in but that changed when she also learned today that the hold up was because my own personal doc is on vacation and I was kind of dropped between the cracks. They are now concerned now of nerve damage in the long run and that the part of the protruding part of the disk may have broke off. I feel a little more hopeful now that something will now be done.

    Good advice
    1) Never accept the answer as the correct know your stuff
    2) always have someone else there especially that you are on pain meds they
    will be clear and can listen
    3) Question everything, where'd you go to school, how long you been doing this
    how many times have you done it, whats the best place you can go, ask ask ask

    At least you're getting an idea of what's going on. With what ever treatment they have to do you should be healed up in time for the meet & greet next year and then come on down to Colorado Springs for a few days and I'll give you a guided tour of Colorado. Prayers are being aid for you, When you get ready to go to hospital let me know and I'll see if I can get a Black Sheep in the area to come and visit ya.

    Just now got the call from the hospital the surgeon wants me in to see him at 8:30 am. Sounds really good on the rally and seeing more of Colorado, you got a beautiful state.

    Meant with the surgeon at 8:30 and he was upset that I just got into see him. He is concerned with long term nerve damage. I am scheduled for surgery tomorrow at 1PM. Very concerned as I can't lift my foot any longer and so was he. Looks like I'll be off work at least 6-8 weeks and when I asked him about riding he looked at me and said that is the least of your worries right now. He did say there is a foot brace that can be worn when the nerve damage won't come back but we won't know that for a couple months down the road. We both had a good conservation and dialog with him and I do feel very confident in him. somebody in my chapter said looks like a Trike in your future and my answer was, over my dead body.
    They will probably keep me overnight because of a previous back surgery in 1978 when a boiler exploded. That's all I know for now.

    So what if you get a trike,
    if Vladimir Putin can ride a Harley Trike
    in Russia, you can ride an HD trike.
