Anyone else see a need for a GROUP ride here?
I hate it when adults can't behave as adults. Grow up, get over it, and move on :banghead: Sorry you attached yourself to an idiot Abbey. Good luck on getting your scooter back.

I also hate it when people do something seen as stupid by the masses and get more people on my back about how dangerous motorcycles are. When are people going to learn inantimate objects are not dangerous, it is the idiot operators that make them dangerous to themself and others. You won't find me in shorts unless you find me in bed and the thought of riding in them has NEVER entered my pea brain. I have rode in tennis shoes and called myself many idiot names the entire time. Usually that is when I have just done something to the bike and test running it up and down my hill. No long trips or short ones that involve cages.

Been riding 30+ years never worn shorts riding.Wife did on first bike we owned. Burnt ankle on pipes&thighs on sun soaked seat, now she's in boots, jeans & leather as I am.That's what cows die for to feed us & keep us safe from bad road rash.

Don't ride in shorts m'self, unless I'm wearing chaps. But don't give a hoot 'r holler if someone else does...except if it were my kids I'd stop 'em and tell 'em to wise up. Until they're 18, then they have the freedom to choose whatever. I'm good with the freedom to choose, as long as the chooser is the one that suffers their bad choices.

Abby, if you need help getting your wheels back, I'd call the Law first. They have dedicated people to deal with domestic crap like that, and we're all paying for 'em to do that crap. But if that won't work, you can call on friends and we could set it right. Though we might go about it wrong - which is probably why ya didn't go with that other thread, huh?

Not only well you get a bad case of road rash if you lay it down, you well also get a nasty burn on your leg from the exhaust if your not careful.

Always a clown in the crowd!!!

I was on a trip to Oregon with my brother and we went down doin 70. Needless to say, neither of us was dressed for the ride. Tire went flat and brought us both down. I lost all skin on a big toe to the bone, cause of tennis shoes, and my brother had road rash all over his body from not wearing leather.
I now live in Missouri and the motorcycle accidents are on the rise since last year. Watch out and be aware not only goes for the 4 wheelers!
