I got caught on the other side of London in heavy snow a few years ago. I made it the fifty miles home with the snow settling thickly on the streets in central London (very rare) and fell off twice within 200 yards of my house! Only very slow speeds and I was laughing so much I couldn't see. Luckily it was the company Yamaha FJR 1300 not the Road King and no damage done.:D

was in alaska 25 yearas,,, winter gives you cabin fever,,,so do dumb things,,, i had four bikes ,,,one a 125 honda with an extended fork,,, long extended,,, made ourselves,,, no brakes on front,,, very little on back,,, so i get it out one feb,,, had a break in snow,,, thawed a little ,,, than froze,,, duel wheel tracks from truck had a ice ridge down middle about 4 inches hi,,, i had ridden every day for about a week ,,,was a real kick,,, than for some reason my front tire was in one tire track and back in another,,, so i am kinda sideways,,, course after several days of ridding i had gotten brave enough to get into hi gear,,,, sh?t you kno when the old lady gets that look,,,and she is about to thro the fry pan,,,, that is the moment of fear i felt,,, BUT been at this a week ,,so settle into fact i can pull this off ,,,dont panic,,, just give her one little shot of throttle,,, back wheel will jump rite into line,,, not so,,, no leathers,,,ice ridge tore a 300 dollar parka all to heck,,, never rode again,,,pops
