Riding Season Done For Me

    Well, I brought the cams in to get the pressed on. While I was there, I asked him about what clearance was set at. I was told .625 if I understood correctly. For some reason he didn't write that number down??? I said ok, I will call tomorrow, don't press them on until I know. I was also told that .050" is most desrirable. I asked if a cam that is only .013" in total lift larger than when the heads were done would really interfere or not. He said no. So, I will have those back tomorrow.

    Here are a couple of pictures with the cam in place just to check case clearance. Paul suggested that at least a .060" should be free, well, I didn't have a .060" feeler gauge. Paul suggested to use a credit card. That fit no problem. Good to I guess.

    Got a chance to test the new cams. I like them but there is some carb work that needs to happen or redo the MAP.
