    Funny. Hit 110 today buddy with his RG was right with me no lift at high speeds. That's just total BS

    Side winds? Nope my RG is way more stable with high winds ride back 1300 miles last weekend hit the winds of TS Berel 50 mph gusts no wobble no issues

    Passing tractor trailers at 80 zip no wiggle

    Unless you ride one you have no idea how much more stable they are

    Dash farther away yep I like it put in a windvest 15 inch screen. I can smoke a full Churchill at 70 no ash in face no fast burn. Stock shield is issue

    RG's rule. Bar faring guys drool

    Had a real fine red headed chick in high school, man she was so nice. Her mother scared me off when they started talking marriage. So married the next one I meant up with in high school after I got back from Nam, a strawberry blond, what a huge mistake:gah: Should of stuck with the redhead. :D Or better yet played around a while. :D

    We did wind tunnel tests on RG in 2005 and side-by-side tests in 2007 and 2008. We used instruments to verify results--not the feel of our asses.

    I know. It's like telling a bumblebee he's really too big to fly, but fly he does.

    When I worked for the Motor Co. I rode plenty of RG's. That's why I own a SG.

    This thread is getting old, if you dont like wind touching you stay in your car, I ride on the road, not in a wind tunnel. Real world riding determines what a motorcycle is going to act like in different situations.

    Haven't ridden in a wind tunnel, on the the real streets,
    wind tunnel does help, but the facts are that the RG isn't
    a poor handling bike, just like the old internet rumor that
    when you go into a curve at night with a fixed faring
    your headlights are gonna go off the road and you'll be in trouble
    because they don't follow the front wheels, (uh you mean just like cars?)

    :banghead::banghead:

    Really I guess all those poorly designed bmw, goldwings, KTM,
    sport bikes are just blind when they ride at night:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

    I know that when I had my Goldwing one problem that I did not like with the fixed fairing was at night in a corner. The fixed fairing headlight does not follow you in the turn like the batwing fairing does. The light was always at the side of the road. I like lighting up the road not the ditch.:D

    :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

    So at 50 MPH you are in a sweeper and you actually turn the bars on the bike into the corner..... :eek:

    Far enough to light up the road where the fixed fairing only points at the side of the road. I distinkly remember not being able to see the road well enough and not knowing what was out in front of me. It was a feeling that I did not like. With the Bat wing I have the spots on also and they move with the fairing as well and I have em set to stay on with the high beam. Works very well and no blind spots. Much better sight of the road VS the fixed fairing.

    I agree, I am still waiting to experience not being able to see at night when I am in a corner...;)
