Once we got all of our dumb little issues worked out, it was time to resume the riding. We headed back the way that we came which was via SD Hwy, 16 west. From then on the riding was pretty and without issue. I must get to posting pictures, there are just a lot of them that were taken so it is a matter of getting them sorted out. I am looking at them right now. ;)

Ok I am finally getting around to posting some pictures.

Here is one that I think that is very fitting for this forum. We often talk about smoking cigars but no one ever posts a picture of them actually smoking one, so I guess I have to. Here is Red and I having a smoke. I am smoking a Churchill Oliva and I am not sure what he is smoking.

[IMG] All I know is that that Oliva is a great smoke!!!!!

My cigar that night was a Cain 550 Maduro, also by Oliva. The Nic was a product of http://ruizcigars.com/ , a local shop. The drink was Capt Morgan & ice tea. The cutie on the bike was a lot of fun to hang out with, as the whole family was, too. Hope to visit with all of them again some day.

Now it is time for some pictures that we took actually out on the road. The rout that we took was simple. We took McLeod County Rd 7 to U.S. Hwy 212, turned right and followed that until we got to MN 23 west. We followed 23 until we came upon I90.

It was brisk that morning and at first along with my regular clothing Just had chaps and my vest on. WE rode until we came upon a town called Russel. There we needed some fuel for ourselves and for the bikes. We stopped at a little place called K-Joes. All I am going to say is that it is an interesting little place.

The ride on Hwy. 23 was Ok but man, we ran into some belly dump gravel trucks that may not have been empty and man did we get a face full. This is the first time that I have been on this road this far west so it was aall new to me. We ran across a windmill farm. I just think that those things are just neat.

Here are couple of pictures that we took just before we took off Friday morning.

Now here is picture of of just one of the windmills. I am sure that you all have seen them before but here it is anyways.

Not sure where this picture was taken, but it was just as we got into South Dakota. A little blurry but it is still a good pic.

Here is a picture and a video of us heading into the Missouri River Valley.

She does. I think that the problem is that she never has the camera ready. She take a picture or video, then when she is done she turns it off and puts it away. Then "OH SHIIT!" there is something that I want to take a picture of, then she has to rush and take the camera out, get it set, then rushes. I can understand about saving battery life but if one would listen and plug it in when said to, there would be no issue. :D

JB- She rides as hard as you, so you really can't ask more. OK, it would be cool if she was better with the camera, but then I have to go back to the original line - she is a rider.

You're all riders, that's for sure! Good pics, even if some are a little blurry. That's the way things look from my bike when I'm rollin'! LOL

What I ordered was a frozen frickin' coffee, and it took awhile for her to figure out. She did get it right, eventually, but there was no foo-foo about it.
