A few simple rules before posting items for sale or requests looking to buy.

    1. When creating a new post, prefix your item's title as follows -
FS: for items For Sale (example: FS: Harley Muffler)
      FT: for items For Trade
      WTB: for want to buy
This helps others know whether you are selling, buying, or trading.
    2. Pictures should be attached if available.
    3. Do not post commercial items for sale or advertising links.
    4. Only motorcycle related items are allowed.
    5. Do not include your email address in the message. Spammers often troll sites looking for anything with "@[domains].com". Simply ask those interested to send you a PM or respond to the message.
    6. If posting an ad, be sure to check in this forum daily for responses. There's nothing more annoying than replying to an ad and the owner never comes back. If you aren't getting any responses, try replying back to your own message (once or twice max) to give it a bump. Refrain from starting new threads with the same item unless there's a major change to the listing.
    7. Please don't reply with "I can get that cheaper", "I will sell the same thing for less" or "your price is too high". Such replies are considered hijacking of the original member's post.
    8. Transactions are between buyer and seller and doesn't involve this forum. As with all transactions be sure to be safe. Buyers are encouraged to use Paypal since this can prevent fraud. Avoid anyone using Western Union since this is well known as the payment of choice for thieves. Also beware of money orders other than from the postal service.
    9. If in doubt, ask the moderators or myself about other members you wish to transact with.
