How's the bike :). If I live closer I would grab my chainsaw and give you a hand.

Thanks for the thoughts but the winds are still growing. Its not safe to go out. Also, the trees are massive and the way they are laying (over the pool, over the shed, truck and other stuff) it's gonna take rigging to get rid of em. The winds are supposed to get up to 90mph by midnight. Right now we are seeing about 60mph. Many more trees are down or topped. All kinds of chit hitting the house. I expect some roof shingle damage, window screens and many decorative evergreen trees I planted over the years. Three white pines were taken out by the same oak that crushed my truck. Lost another 3 Cedars by two massive oaks. Worst storm I have ever lived through. AND, just like katrina, we have a chit load of a-holes along the coast that refused to evacuate when ordered. I can't imagine what news we are gonna wake up to.

I will assume that Fatboy is without power as is so many in New York tonight. High wind and trees is nothing to mess with hope you stayed in the house. Gonna be lots of power lines down to. Hope you guys are OK.

Looks like much of the east coast is knocked out tonight. Hoping that Fatboy and everyone else out that way is safe tonight.

Wow, went to that FB site and this one picture really stood out for me.
The picture is of water pouring into the ground zero construction site, but it has this haunting painted look to it.

Still alive at 2am. Living in a wooded community has its drawbacks. My area looks like a small tornado ripped thru. I lost many oaks and locust, white pine, maples too. Many trees look like a huge chainsaw topped em. Electric still on despite flashing for hours. No internet or tv, cable service down. Only smart phone works.

Stay high and dry, and away from electrical lines...

Gonna be a while to get it all cleaned up, one storm like
this will clean out a lot of trees and brush. Water
looks like it's gonna wash out NYC and clean the streets, subways and sewers.

I hear there is a new landmark on Long Island. A large ship was washed ashore.

Good your up on higher ground Fatboy, saw lots of pics of flooding. Heard an area in New York where some 80 homes burned. Stay safe and like said keep away from downed power lines.
