So when you buy a new bike finance those changes you want all at once and be done, that's how I did mine and was cheaper to, got 20% off parts and labor that way. Can't afford it well then you should have kept the old bike and started over with it. ;)

This is where I am at. I just want to ride and with two basic criteria. They are:

1.) MY bike has something that distinguishes it from all of the rest. Could be color or a distinctive feature. Anything.

2.) The engine has more power than what I would ever use. This doesn't mean that the engine has to have 130 hp. I like having the comfort of knowing that I have the necessary power that I need when it is needed.

I like to take it easy and cruise and enjoy the ride, but every now and then I like to kick the throttle in the asss and move. Like the other night when I brought the bike up to 100 mph.

I can't believe that I am going to agree with CB on this but I agree that most people like to upgrade their bikes in stages and I do happen to think that it is better to it that way. I have learned that each bike is different then the next, it has its own soul. Two bikes that are cosmetically the same, and same year won't be the same. Just some thoughts.

They do it in stages like CB because they don't know what they want to start with and or in CB's case they are never satisfied. My point was if you buy a brand new bike at least set it up where you believe you want it to be to start with. How much power do you need and what point does it start going the wrong direction. I have seen guys buy a new bike and keep adding more and more to it to have the most HP out there yet they are never satisfied and pretty soon they start experiencing problems after problems.

Good points. That is where I am. I am not going to touch the engine on my bike anymore because there is no need to. When I was out for that ride on Friday with my buddy I tested my bike really for the first time and I was extremely happy with it. That bike went crazy when I spanked it in the asss. :D

When you start running it with the V-Ductor it will even be better. Hope you like it and sounds like your bike is performing really well.:)

Sometimes it gits to how much money you have so you do it in stages.
If you've done a tuner, high flow air kit and mufflers. Normally a Cam is all the power you need.
The cam and tuners gives you the most power overall.

Well that is true CB, but even then sometimes people are not even satisfied with that. A friend of mine has a 110 SE and now wants a 120 in it with bigger badder cams, I told him glad its your money.

    Nothing wrong with that
spend the money if you got it,
and if you love the power, go for it.

You only live once, and you can
only ride for so long, so get what you
like and ride the snot out of it while you
    can.

Sitting around on the front porch
talking with your great grand kids about
what you should have done isn't the way to go...
