The original SERT was made by TTS Mastertune (The Turbo Shop) for HD,
when push came to shove after 7 years they parted ways but TTS maintained
access to HD ECM data to support the old software and develop new applications.

Bot SESPT and TTS are similar but TTS is the better of the two, it constantly
changes and develops to the market. I run it and prefer it to a replacement ECM and the chance of having to wait for a replacement for weeks on end vs a simple programming access to the stock ECM that can do everything needed.

I can carry an 8 GB thumb drive with all the software, the map, and still have room for 1000 pictures on a trip to update the bike if the ECM takes a dump anywhere, be up in hours, not days.

Rode mine with TTS installed last night, did the first of two VE runs, VE or Volume Efficiency measures the cylinders ability to process air at each KPA to RPM position, once done, this sets the baseline and the ECM and engine are in sync as far as capacity and demand. There are of course as Paul said, things you need to know but several
forums are full of AFRxperts and the developer is present on many which is nice.

You can speed it up by adjusting the correction percentage when you link up it will be under the closed loop menu change the correction value to 20% and then AUTO MAP it . It will dump the corrected map in the ecm and start from that point over to build a new portion of your map . But make sure you build a new folder when you link it to the ecm or you will loose all your values from that point on. But please make sure that you have no air or exhaust leaks cause it will over correct your fuel trim values. It uses what we call in the auto industry shorterm and long term fuel trim percentage correction short terms job is to keep long term in check -the t max ecu uses this input to build a map and save it .

The Throttle by Wire is totally different than the cable in the 07 and below.
    I had a thunder max in a 07 model.
The TBW is different software too then the older models.

ARe you using it on a cable drive. If so you got a totally different software.
Whole program operated different than the software for the TBW models.

Again I have the Advanced Software, Had it for a few years.

I tend to forgit a lot if I don't do it very often.
And not being a tuner I don't know as much as I would like.

I'm no tunner good wrench I think I tune cars quite a bit and build cars for customers. Spend a lot of time tunning bikes for freinds and have freinds. in the bike industry that allow me to tune for them and I look at it as a learning experience. And soak it up as a sponge wish icould do it for a livin just to many bike shops down here . Wish I could spend more time at the bike shop and get some machine work done for myself . On these cylinders
