He has been to 5 HD shops, they told him his 2010 SE SG has INTERNALLY wired handle bars. They will not install any heated grip on his bike until HD makes them for his bike.
    Forgit the heated grips.

There ignorant, we have installed em ourselves on the newer bikes with the TBW. You sometimes have to bore the right side handle grip. Go back and read the instructions completely for the after market set and it will explain how to do it in the TBW bikes. Its a piece of cake!

buddies was ultra, same bike, same wires, same bars
same harness, same electrical system same everything else.

Mines an RG but its still and FLH and has the same harness etc
whats the difference as far as handlebars grips are grips.

They don't want to do it because they are a lot more work
than non internally wired bars or he doesn't want to write the check

Just get a set of any HD heated grips and
get someone to run them down inside the
bars. They need to be lubricated

    Use unscented lube...

Emailed the dude with HDbomm here is what he said

It keeps referring to Nim. I don’t know about Nim.

Navigation Interface Module (NIM). Made by Harley and is used in conjunction with a Harley GPS (Road Tech 660 or 665).

And the bike we are wantint to put it on DOES NOT have a GPS.

The H-D Bomm is a helmet microphone interface and is used with the GPS system to enable the rider to make and take phone calls using their helmet microphone.

It’s a 2010 SG. We want to be able to turn the Harmon Kardon radio into Bluetooth so we can use a set of SMH 10 Sena headset and listen to music from the HK radio in them.

There is currently nothing on the market that will enable you to do what you want.

    Best regards

    Jim
