Don't know how you can wear a full face in the heat and humidity you get in Texas

You get what you pay for. A good helmet will cost more; but $500, $600, $700 for a helmet? Mine was $115 with the shipping, and is good quality for the price. If my face gets mangled up in a wreck - well, I wasn't very pretty to begin with - might even be an improvement LOL.

I love it and so true

I could care less what a full face cost or how good it is, ain't spending that much money on one. I have a Shoe full face flip helmet that I spent under $200.00 for and only wear it when I ride in the winter and it's below freezing, works fine. My HD 3/4 helmet with flip up face shield works very good in rain and I wear what I call a neck condom in the winter. Those things really keep you warm on the neck and keeps the cold air off your chest with any kind of helmet including full face.

Good for you. But there may be other people that ride with a bigger helmet.
You may never need one. Like carrying a pistol.
But when the one time comes. How much is the protection you got worth to you.

How much will the 200 helmet save you in money.

Shoe is a very good and well built helmet CB. Gives you plenty of protection that you would ever need. If your noggin is that swelled up where you need a custom built helmet then your going to spend a bit more money but thankfully most of us have just normal sized heads. :D

Nobody has normal size heads. That's another reason they have a lot of different helmets.
What do you call custom built.
One that has been had air stream testing on it to see how the air flows over it.
And a drop down visor, or a face shield you can raise or lower.
    C'Mon man.
you got the Top of the line Harley Davidson and you can't spend any money on a Helmet.
    Don't make sense.

I personally don't care if you do or don't wear one.

I wear a HD Hybrid Shorty most of the time. I have a HJC 3/4 for cold weather and a Bell a Revolver Modular for really cold weather or when traveling on overnighters when weather could change to rain. BUT, I am under going skin treatments on my face in order to remove pre cancerous sun damaged skin. Too many hours on the boat and bike in the sun. I probably will have to protect my face in the future with a modular helmet.
During my early riding years on fast Japanese bikes my favorite helmet was a full face Arai I loved that helmet.

Have a modular, works fine, it's a couple hundred bucks model, a bit noisy
but does it's job, put in the JM speaker setup to hook to the HD radio

Use it in rain, longer trips and super cold.... Hard to smoke a cigar though I had to go to super short ones and it tends to fog up my face mask....

My wife had the nolan. Its heavier and very hot during the summer.
And has NO where the air flow of the Neotec.
I do like the buckle system of the nolan.
I also have the N 102 nolan. Its too hot to wear when it warms up.
Put the Nolan on yer head and take if off and put the Neotec on.tell me the difference.

You also have more room between your mouth and the chin guard on the Neotec.
Not to mention more air flow.

The medicine I take says stay out of direct sun light for extended periods of time.
    FF helmet solved that.
Had all kinds of brown places coming out on my face.
    FF helps that.

Yep, my face started looking like a pizza. Red spots all over. Doc says a fancy name but essentially the spots are pre cancer. Too much fishing with out protection over the years. Got sunburned many many times. He's chemically burning off skin layers over the next 3 months. Today was first treatment. I can't go out in uv for 48 hrs. Face falls off later this week. Then I have to grow a new one. I think I'll grow a face like Justin Bieber !
