    wow....finally something to post.
got the engine together, and installed. it was not an easy task.
broke three head studs, had to drill them out and helicoil...PITA.
got my exhaust stud holes repaired...no threads left...is gewd now.
didn't realize cam bushing had to be sized, lucky i've had a small hone in
    my tool chest forever.
new cam, rollers and pushrods. had to shorten two of the pushrods to install,
is that because of the new cam ? they would not shorten up enough. ground
1/8" off the adjuster, and they worked beautifully.
    new charging system is done.
    here are some pics.

Bike looks great! But something is wrong with the far right side of the photo. The one that shows a workbench and peg board where all the tools are organized and neat and clean!? :wtf: Are you anal????

no...i am not that organized, those are my metrics. standards are spewn
out all over the floor and workbench. takes forever to find stuff, i need to
get it cleaned up, but too into the bike.

i will get more pics posted as soon as i can.

Glad to hear that. A neat bench and tools organized on a pegboard is kinda weird! :roflmao: Reminds me of an old timer wearing Sears work pants and matching shirt! :roflmao: Bike looks great though!

Used to be all over with tools but finally got rolling cart for that and organized. Work is quicker if you can find the right tools

I keep mine in drawers or a 6' metal cabinet. Apologies if this constitutes hijacking the thread.
EIEIO, your scooter is coming along nicely. Hope you'll be riding soon!
