All the SG's had and have air shocks but. an inch and a half shorter than on the EGs, So to keep my fat ars from bottoming out I had to run with so much pressure in them it was always a rough ride. Finnally replaced them with Progessive EG air shocks, Way better. now can ride with less pressure and more comfy.

I would have bet your bike of choice would have been the Street Bob.

That's a nice one, too, but I like the Soft tail Slim because of the soft tail, no rear shock look. Isn't the soft tail a bit lower to the ground, too?

Yep and less ground clearance and shorter rear suspension travel. But to you Josh it would be like riding in a rolls Royce !

Street Glide Special has adjustable hydraulic rear shocks. tHA STANDARD s.g. HAS the old(short) air adjustable shocks. I can't see if the Hydralic shocks have more travel.

I like Street Glides, fit me well. Stock, not lowered, Ultra a bit tall for me, not on toes, but just a little high. Noticed the Ultra Low is actually lower seat height than Street Glide...interesting...

Seems like the Ultra Low is a good addition

Street Glide is just a stripped down Ultra or now Ultra Limited. The new Ultra and Ultra limited are the same height as the last few years. The CVO Limited has a taller seat height simply because of the seat itself being a thicker taller seat.

The Ultra low is an overdue motorcycle simply for those shorter people. Yet I've seen many a shorter guy and women riding the sport touring bikes with seat heights that are over 30".

I agree, will be liked by mid size... I am 5'11" and like the height of the SG a lot better than ultra. Amazing how much an inch or so makes...

The seat height on my new Screaming Eagle Ultra limited is to high might look for a lower one in the future.

Sat on a 2015 ultra Low today and there is definitely a difference in height. For the rider that is a bit shorter this should be a welcome touring bike.
