    Hey Chuck ..you got any shocks for a 75 Sportty...Mine are 14" center to center...The ones I have bottom out when I ride G/F on the back...

    i think i have a brand new set of progressives that measure 14 inches....still in the box....will take pics and post tomorrow.............if i dont brain fart!!!!!!!! lol lol

    Chuck ..could you tell me what the diameter is above the bottom eye,I might have a clearance issue if the shock is to big above the eye..Thanks Al

    the dia. is 2 3/4 inches.....the eye is 3/4 inch across the flat.......hope this helps.....

    I'll check it out on friday..I'll see if I can"modify" my bike,right now I have room for 2 1/4 diameter before it hits the swing arm...Thanks Chuck

    I'll have to space the bottom out...about 1/4".....probally have to make a new stud...spent most of my time tearing my tractor apart..have to get ready for winter.I'll let you know what I plan to do this coming friday...Thanks Chuck..

    With all the rain and bad weather I just dug the bike out last weekend and installed the shocks. I like them real well, thanx Chuck! I did find out that for some reason the previous owner installed 7/16-14 bolts in the upper shock mounts instead of the 1/2-13 that should have been. Hate to think what that would have been like if they would have come off at high speed. It wasn't even chrome, it was like a plated grade 3 bolt... so I have no idea why they would have even messed with it as this bike is an 04 with then 6000 miles on it.
