Lol. A guy on HTT is kind of busting my chops about this build. I said a non race application then I told him what cams I am going to use. He goes what happened to a non race application? Lol

I also emailed Aaron back and asked about my current clutch and told him that I had to do some checking before I committed to the carb but did say that I prefer the CV 44.

Well I guess what is taking me so long to get the engine out is that I want all my ducks in a row. What I needed to do didn't have to deal with engine removal directly, but a part of the project.

When I got my estimate from Hammer Performance he quoted a new Mikuni carb. I wasn't all that enthused about that so I has to check to see if the CV 44 is compatible with my air intake system. It is so we are good to go there. Also they quoted a new clutch. Well, I just installed a new Barnett Extra Plate Kit so I needed to make sure that that clutch would be sufficient. We are also good there.

Another small thing that I need to get before I send the case to Hammer Performance is I need to get the rocker arm's that I want because I will have to send those to them for the valve train geometry correction. I have all winter.
