Dang chuck that would take the fun outta the process
I gotta go through all this stuff first to stay away from
    doing chores..

Yeah I'm going to do that as well but the headlight shouldn't
    drain 2 volts

Headlight pulls it down for sure. I might run a power from the battery to a relay and separate power for the headlight.

Wires going into switch one was loose so that might be part of problem

Yep, lights do drawl a lot. Putting the lights on a seperate switch might help you a lot.

eventually will, I should check the draw on the RG to see what's hitting the starter
    volts wise.....

Headlight drops two volts almost from the mix, however the red/gy wire was loose
at the switch so it probably wasn't putting through full amperage to the system.

Re-crimped the connector on it. Might just go up and get new connectors
and put them on and see if it helps bump it a half V.

A loose or corroded connection can mean higher resistance which can relate to voltage drop in a circuit. The head light on by itself will draw a lot of voltage. Reading in a connection should not exceed a 0.2 volt drop.

Is that at the loose connection with the headlight unplugged?

The connection sounds like it didn't drop that much voltage then and looks like you may have to add a separate switch for the head light so you get a full 12V to the starter.

That may be so, however that starter should at least click or stutter with 10.5 volts
and it does nothing, only intermittently will it start, and I am thinking it is not the draw but
    the solenoid on the starter.

Problem is I have to ship it to Spyke and need it back and installed before the 4th of
March so the bike can be ridden.

I think I'll pull the stock starter out of the box and reinstall and ship Spyke back
    this unit....

Yeah. New cable from napa. Also replaced headlight connector with high temp ceramic.

It's done. Too late to fire up. Gotta add fuel and ride tomorrow
