Well I've had the Spyke starter a couple months. I've sent them back like 6 starters in less than a year for oil leakin out the abendix.
They finally got that fixed after like 8 months. Now the starter will do nothin but grind. Its a 1.4 Kw Chrome starter.
Tried to call them on the phone, and as usual they didn't answer.
    Guess I will try tomorrow.

Thought the other day you was saying to git a 4+ gear to make it run faster.

I will probaly wind up takin it to Lousiana if the weather would hold up to a dyno guy I know that can work with a PCV or a Thundermax.
Looks like a cold front and rain is in the forcast after saturday.

    Re: I'm with HRK...

This one is a 08 EGS, I've done a heck of a lot to it to make it like I wanted, I mean like near 8000 between the motor upgrade to a full 103, heads, piston, cams, pipes, high flow air kit tourpac tuner,Bi xenon light, Hard lowers, radio, GPS, lowering the back of the bike and all.
My wife said if I want to go and git a job, I can have whatever I want to pay for. LIke a new bike. I've rode stock bikes and they sux.
I kinda don't want to go back to work full time.. I've got lazy like Chucktx..

I work during the spring, summer and part of the fall. Right now nobody is boating so I got no work.
She said if I waited 2 yrs till I git my SSI, i could take part of my money and she would pay some and I could git a new bike.
With no job I got no credit. And with no job and no credit, I got to have the Old
Lady to mother me. And she has spent a pretty good bit of money on me this year.
Remember I just got a new bike lift table. And a bunch of other stuff she paid for. Like a thousand dollars in the last two months.
I can make money disappear fast.
She said she never seen anybody spend money like me. I'm suppose to be retired, that means not spending money. CAn't I hear......

    Anymore questions.:cussing:

You probaly had a bike you drove around and didn't hammer it everywhere you went.
I haven't been able to drive like that. Been trying but haven't accomplished it yet.
I run with a dude that has a 110 cu se and has a stage one to it.
Like to make him twist his throttle more.

I'm gonna git Cowboy to go on a ride with me since he got his new cams in.
Want to see if he can keep up.......

you're right, I didn't hammer on it all the time but I didn't baby it either..had too much compression..took the starter out..the cam lobes chunked off, had piston slap and the bottom end started getting too much side play..but man was it fast when it ran. The bike I have now is basically stock except for the big bore 95 kit and it has had a much harder life and has given a lot less trouble and I'm starting to learn something..it's funner to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. I remember going for a ride on the Coronado Trail with Flht and CD a few years ago..both of those guys were running cams and 95 kits..the road was twisty enough for me to keep up..that was a blast..but on the flats it was no
contest..they waved by by and checked out....

Got a TW6 woods cam, it will run good on bottom end and on top end.
It will pull 2 people and gear as hard as you want to run.
    Check my signature out........;)
