Buddy you know more about motors and timing and stuff, and paintin.
But I know you can do more with a computer operated bike.
If it was a Thundermax I could email the map to Thundermax and ask them to pul some timing out and they could do it and sen the map back to me via email and I could download the edited map and upload it in the computer on the bike. The the auto tune module can take over.

Oh yea Thundermax does offer a tuner, they came out with one at the Daytona races for the people that wanted them.
They called me and asked me if I wanted one. I was preregistered.
    I didn't have 950.00 for one.
And I wasn't at Down South Cycles so I couldn't git a dealer price.
If I deceide on one you know where I'm going to go and call.

Even with computer operated cars, you can take things like superchips programmers and install programs to make yer truck pull harder, or run faster.
Or to adjust yer idle. Timing and tell you fault codes.
And the list goes on and on.
Its just old school people like me ain't learn everything on how do do these things to computer programs.
But Thundermax has a great team of tech support folks and can help you with it.

Yes I agree that the efi computer operated stuff is cool. I believe ya that the thundermax is the best. But I still like my carbed bike. it's all mine with no bank notes and it should last me many more miles.

    Here is what was said

Yes I agree that the efi computer operated stuff is cool. I believe ya that the thundermax is the best. But I still like my carbed bike. it's all mine with no bank notes and it should last me many more miles.

I said my bike is paid for. Its all mine.
I pulled the money out of my pocket and laid it on the table at the Harley dealer.
How did you pull that out of it ain't all mine ?

Could of left my bike stock. Thought it ran like crap stock.
I like performance. Continuesly making changes to my motorcycle.
If its about buying a EPA bike and leaving it stock, I'd rather tear it up and fix it. Have raced things my whole life. Like Hot Rodding stuff.
If this means its not mine, don't know how you figure that.

I would rather have the Thundermax than the PowerCommander.
The Thundermax replaces the stock ECm.

I know how to operate the Thundermax better.
Know more people workin with the Thundermax.

With the Thundermax they got better Tech support. If I need to make changes to the base map, Thundermax has a setup in the program that you can email your program to them and they can make changes to the base map and email it back to you.
If you take your bike to HD and they dyno it and you make major changes.
YOu have to go back to Hd and have it redynoed.
I DO NOT wish to keep going to the HD dealer to have anything done to my bike.
I am trying to learn how the computer program operates.
    Not a dyno man.
My bike has over 43,000 on it at present. Haven't depended on the dealer to repair it for me.

Jeez, relax. I was just pokin fun. I don't care about what you own or don't own. I believe you. In fact, I don't care so much I didn't even read everything you just wrote:p

The only thing I'll add is fuel injection doesn't simplify anything. The more complicate these bikes get the more of a pain in the ars it is to upgrade not to mention the astronomical cost increases to do it. If you ain't gonna change anything outside of an intake and exhaust and just want to ride then great these new bikes are just for that. I'm not a rich guy. I may be able to finance a new bike but I would not have any money to upgrade it so I would be just riding it even though I like to tinker too. I would rather look around for a low mileage carbed bike and tinker with it than buy new - if I can. When was the last year for a carbed Ultra???
