    Great story! I was out there for business once in Denver (Bureau of Land...) and brought the wife for a mini vacation. Stayed in Estes and drove around in a rentacage traveled on a couple of the roads you mentioned. Great country! I wish I could get back there with two wheels. Some of you bros and sisters live in wonderful places, "God's Country". I hope you all never take it for granted.

    good story...camped in Leadville about 20 years ago. neat campground, forget the name. They had an ice cream social every night.It can get cool up there at night.
