what is the difference in the two? The screamin eagle page says they both do almost the same thing.

You can download updates for the super tuner.

Don't think you can do it to the sert.
After you buy them you need to have them dynoed. There is more money.

Go into the harley shop and talk to a person in service. They can tell you everything about them.

I like the Thunder-Max with Auto tune myself.
You would have to change yer header pipes so it would have 18mm bungs to accept the wide band 02 sensors.

Re: Street tuner or race tuner

I meant to say difference in street tuner and pro tuner. I think the protuner and super tuner and race tuner is the same isn't it. All I am doing is going with a screamin eagle airfilter and true duals and either vance and hines monster rounds or big shot duals. So I'm tryng to find the best tuner for this app. I know the street tuner has to go to the dealer for downloads the other you can do.But can the street tuner change fuel mixtures because it has a sticky word EPA compliant downloads from the dealer attached to it.

Jmo if you are going non hd parts then go tts mastertune. You will find more maps and the ability to tune it yourself ie fine tuning will be easy and it can grow with your mods should you decide to add cam or heads etc

Talked to my buddy on the internet who is a builder and Dyno man about tuning a sert without a dyno. Here is what he said, he is at work so he didn't have a lot of time.
He only believes in using a Dyno.......

you cant self tune with sert or sestp or tts, you can only get fuel closer. but what about timing?

SE super tuner keeps your downloads w/in legal road use. The SE racetuner has all the downloads the super tuner has and more and will get more out of the 103 motor then the super tuner.

Recently talking to a HD mechanic about just that very thing...... with regards to the 103 motor that is.

You spent the money on the Thundermax? I run the SE tuner and was tuned by a master tuner and runs really well. Couldn't ask for it to be any better.h

1st thing I want to do is git everything EPA off my bike, IMMEDIATELY.
And if its anything to do with it being legal I want it off too.
If I can't have it that way I want a Older fuel injected bike.
Let them sell the stuff that the EPA to the EPA and the Tree huggers.
When people start refusing to buy it. Mabe somebody will hear.
IF I'M SPENDING MY MONEY, I will spend it on what I want.
    Not what you are selling.
The EPA has gone overboard and now they are just scaring folks.
It started in CAlif and its spread across the world.
    Screw California standards.

Bullshyte, he's a dyno man, and of course he's selling dyno time.
With the new tech you can get right on the money if you take the time
and know what to do, and there's plenty of tips in the AFR section at HTT
    including the software designer....

Won't be long but a dyno won't be needed period, cars are already there
unless you want a mega hp super high end turbo car/bike.

Plenty of maps already done for most street combos for TTS, SERT
    even your vaulted T_Max....
