I'm keeping it up as best I can. It's got a nice yellow-greenish tinge now, but the swelling is still there. Have the follow-up tomorrow. And don't worry - haven't had any alcohol in a couple of decades. Figured out a while ago that stuff's not good for me, with or without narcotiics. :roflmao:

    Check it out!

I got my new cast and casttoos today. I'm writing an article in the magazine in the Accessories section. Cool, eh?

I'll have the whole process on Biker Chick Mag soon, but it's really simple. It's after the cast has set. The 'toos are decals made out of a special material. They have adhesive on one side, so they stick on, but you can reposition them. Once they're all set, you hit them with a hair dryer or heat gun and they shrink to fit.

They don't come off randomly and are waterproof, but if you really want to, you can pry them off and apply new ones.

It's a great concept, and it was really awesome to see such a young entrepreneur come up with a great idea as a result of an accident, pursue it, and make it a reality. 3M is promoting them. How cool is that? Right now it's the owner/creator, who's probably about 25 and a very cute girl. She has another woman working for her, who might be all of 23 or 24. Then they have a college intern. They're adorable! :roflmao:

I've done the flames on the nails before - paid good money for it. To a Vietnamese guy. I'd much rather have paid Chuck to do it.

The guy in NH charged $10 to airbrush all of them. He had a little stencil. It didn't take very long.
