There is a freeway that runs straight down the middle of Kansas that is flat and boring. Goes past Hayes and then into Colorado. I did say BORING didn't I. I can see why the Buffalo likes Kansas.

I lived for a time then got station at Ft Riley,KS back in the day. There was no love for veterans/soldiers back then. Would try to hang out in Manhattan,KS home of K-State instead of Ogden or Junction,KS, your typical military type towns. Go to a club in Manhatan, they would always have signs that said "College ID and Local ID free all others 10$" Guess who the 10$ was?

On the flip side I had a 1972 Yamaha 650 XS when I was there. Rode all up and around those KS/MO hill country. Dipping straight-away for miles, lol. That motorcycle got me more memories then I care to repeat. Chicks dig a motorcycle man, lol.
