That's also good trans oil. I like the pink stuff. Ran it on my trip pulling my trailer and no metal on the magnet when I got back, 7,000 miles. God I still can't believe I rode that many miles, scary.

The description of the "V-Twin Trans Oil" says its the same fluid as the "Heavy Duty" I ordered 2 qts to try.

I'm due to change it but can't ride for another week. Probably get a report in 2 weeks if the delivery gets here in a week. Charlie4 might within a week.

There are 3 Harley shops around here that carry the Red Line oils, but not the Belray. So its easy for me to get it here.

Used to be a HD tech that was a dyno man that was on one of the forums i visit and he build bikes out of his garage. He lived in Utah.
He used to talk alot about using Redline Heavy shockproof in the tranny,

Some of the other guys that live up north talked about Spectro Oil all the time, Said it was some of the best Oil you can buy.

Mabe you should call Bert Baker and see what he has to say about transmission oil since he designs and builds tranmissions and see it the Oil engineers can keep up with him.

But remember you have a HD tranny.

Spectro Oils of America - Touring Motorcycle Oils, Lubricants, and Products

Baker has Spectro oil to be used in their tranny.

So do you use Spectro. I remember when I had a Honda that I used Golden Spectro in the motor/trans (wet clutch).
