Price is high,'68 wasn't a special year...no "firsts or lasts of"...'69 was last year for slab side IIRC...he'll never recoup the money he spent on the rebuild...sure is a sweet looking ride though...:D

What makes you think you can just unplug an ecm and re-flash it that easily. If it were that easy, there'd be 1,000 suppliers for f.i. tuners. Need the whole bike.

I've been thinking about coming out of retirement and doing this for the last 2 years, but would need to rent a commercial space first. Homeowners might complain about guys doing burnouts on my street.

Don't know if you've ever been in business for yourself or not. But food for thought.

Be it known the commercial space, the liability insurance, the electricity and all might eat your lunch .
If you do it look for a very small place where your noise ain't gonna bother anybody.
I've seen plenty of people with great ideas making money at home, open a business and the over head eat their lunch.

Yer too far for me to bring my whole bike buddy.

Yeah, I think the price is high too. Think he turned down 8000 for it last spring. Should have let go of it I think, kinda think he does too. He does have a bunch of extra parts for it though.

He shoulda jumped at $8000.That would have been a good price for him to get including the extras...

I agree. I think the many years of ownership has clouded his judgement some.
I was that way with a couple cars
