I've been going over some charging system components and found the following. With the regulator removed (rubber plug pulled off) I got a reading of 0.5 ohms and with digital voltmeter got a bouncing AC voltage from what looked like 19 to 12 volts when running. It fluctuates very fast so its difficult to pick up all the numbers. I'm trying to figure if the stator is putting out as it should.

Also, is there any good test for the regulator? All I see is to change it with a known good one.

    Thanks for reading
