That's why they created air travel,
you ride up, pick her up in KS,
    ride to sturgis
drop her at the airport, and she's back 5 days

    logic...:bookworm:

Think out of the box CB. They have a real big airport in Rapid City SD. Many guys have flown their wives in and spent a week then flew them back. You could ride and she could fly. Get ol Chuck to ride with yea. You would have a blast.

Ask Chucktx if he wants to ride that far.
He has better things to do too.

He's just going there to eat those junebugs or some kind of bug. :D To ride someplace like Sturgis you have to be willing to ride long distances. Riding through Texas to get there can be like riding in a bake oven with high humidity.

I'm heading out to Street Vibrations next week and the weather will be like 65 riding there and 7o-75 in Reno. Going to be staying in Virginia City and hopefully meet up with Kevin who used to be a regular member here. Guys I'm going to be riding with only want to do 400 the first day and that only leaves less than 200 the second day. I usually ride it in one day, just under 600 miles. Riding home I'll head for Susanville CA then over to Shasta CA and then up I-5 to home. It's a little longer but is faster and better if there is any snow in the Cascade MTN range on the way home. It's happened before and the Rally this year is a week later.

Shasta . . . used to go there from Tennant, Ca. to do grocery shopping once a month. Tennant is up SR. 97 off the innerstate. Water fountains there have pure, unfiltered water coming direct from Mt. Shasta. Best drinking water anywhere.

Not sure I could stand to be around that many Texans at one time. Just 1-2 is difficult enough.:)

Been up in that area and Tennant CA is a very small community. I can see why you would have to go shopping in Shasta. What in the world were you doing there. Talk about isolationism that would be the place. Shasta and that area is a beautiful area. We like the Black Bear Diner in Shasta.

Lived up there twice in the early to mid 80s. We were putting a band together there both times. A friend owned one of the old houses in town and let us stay rent free. Don't remember the diner - we were too poor to eat out much LOL.

Mac the Wife, me, and a few more of us worked for the US forest service planting trees one winter. We were able to upgrade some of our sound equipment.
