    The dodge I drove was a 2013. 1/2 ton SLT 4 door 5.7 engine 390 hp
    6 speed tranny, 355 rear end , 2WD
    It was 39,000
I can git a F 150 4door 4x4 crew cab with the Ecoboost for that

I had a 2006 F-150 4x4 with the 4.6 v8 and crew cab (half rear doors). 6 ft bed. Rear seat still fit 3 adults no problem. It was a company vehicle so I had no engine choice. I pulled a 19ft boat and also drove it on the beaches to fish (dead sand). It rode very good and had a very quiet ride. I liked it a lot. At time or two I wished for a bigger engine but it did OK. Never had a problem pulling. Only had it for 26,000 miles, turned it in for better mpg (I was stupid, a company man, saving the company money. All that got me was nice thoughts).

Yea maybe stripped down. None of the new trucks have a very good price tag on them. You could buy a new Screaming Eagle for less than that.:D

ECoboost is nice test drove one, been thinking about it, kinda waiting as there
is a rumor of the F100 with Diesel coming in 14, that would fit in nice...

The F150 Ecoboost pulls 11,000 pounds rated, rides smooth, gets 20+ MPG
Has a lot of neat options too, backup camera, etc...

    What's a F-100?

Here some pics of the 2014 Silverado. They have some nice changes coming and improved fuel mileage.

The Ecoboost is nice..quiet, V8 sounds much better than it but the six will walk all over the 5 litre. you can get decent fuel mileage out of them but they'll guzzle gas if you work 'em hard. I'm hoping it's a reliable motor..so far so good.
