    Cool, good for you guys. One of the biggest downfalls in a marriage is the money. You two sound like you got a good marriage.

    Thank You, I like to think so. We talk about everything when it comes to money. All major purchases are agreed to by the both of us before we spend a huge amount of money. Kind of like with the bike that I want, if she isn't on board with it, I wait and vice versa. :D I usually don't say no when she wants something because she lets me spend on my bike when needed and when there is something cosmetically that I want to do. It works, she works hard too, so why stand in her way?

    Yea, I agree. Money is a necessity but just a stupid materialistic item that there isn't a need to argue about. I've watched two of my brothers marriages fall apart and there was other issues other than money but it was one of the issues. Money is money and like JB said we pretty much let each other have what we want but as long as priorities are paid for first. :D

    ;) She gives me $50, I spend $50; I give her $50, she spends $50... ;)

    We agree on major stuff or it don`t get done, too...

    I signed on fer better or worse, She did too...
    Keeping the marriage together,
    Dennis & Ann

    Ok, I just got back from the STEALERSHIP and asked about tire prices. If I bring in my front wheel and tire this is what it will cost:
    $208.00 for a MT90 Wide Whitewall
    $ 40.00 for a tube
    $ 40.00 for installation
    Tax and old tire removal cost it came to $308.00 for one stinkin tire and $350.00 if they had to take the wheel off the bike. That is BS :banghead:

    My local guy has the same Dunlop tire for $165.00 plus $15.00 for a tube, Free installation, Free balance, No discard charge.

    To top it all off the STEALERSHIP said that I had better drop the bike off and he will get to it in 3 weeks. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???????:wtf:

    Hot Rider was supposed to have her bike back yesterday, but for some reason his shipment of tires didn't show up. :( Oh well, I guess we will just have to wait until Monday.

    Works for us, too. Mac the Wife and I got 30 years together. Yikes! Where does the time go? Our money situation is slightly different , however. Remember the old blues song:
    All I want my baby to do
    Is make five dollars and give me two!
    Sugar Babe, Sugar Babe, it's all over now!

    Oh yeah, we will make sure of that. Her bike is the shop now. For some reason he didn't get his tires like he was supposed to so we are delayed a little. Other than that we are set.

    I just got back from the dealership and got to take a peek at that Blue on some tins. WOW!! That is a Sharp color... Took HR's bike to try that new tire that got put on, and put on about 140 miles. :cool:

    Glad you are ok, good lesson in paying attention to how the bike feels when riding.
