    this was the only thread my search yielded...so, am i undertanding this correctly ? the second (return) cable is not needed, if the spring on my s&s e closes on it's own. the dual cable bracket is mounted on the carb already, and i was really upset when i read the install manual that said "must" convert pre '88 models. i undertand the reasoning, and don't mind "overkill" on safety issues. so what is the verdict ?
