I dd not find anything on their website that offers a chance to order for a '08 TBW Ultra. Are they not going to sell them to the do it yourself guy ?

Cardboard, do you know what the difference is between the ThunderMax and the ThunderMax 50? I sent them an email but haven't heard back yet. I live in California and know the 50 is legal here but the thundermax is not, but if I can't do all the tuning with the 50, then I will go with the regular Thundermax.

I have been to the web site before. Last week I went ahead and ordered the ThunderMax which is not California compliant, it is supposed to be here tomorrow and then I can install it and see what happens.

Yea the Thundermax 50 is he EPA thunddermax. Its legal in California.
The law suits California keep doing made folks put out stuff like this and units that you can't change as much.
It will also help the bikes pass the Emmissions in California.

California has some terrible laws.

Go to Youtube and watch their setups and installations before it comes so you can make sure you learn as much as you can about it and how to install it and the setup. And make sure you check Closed Loop

And hook up the auto tune cord.
Installation and setup are super important.
but the unit is awsum..
What kind of bike are you puttin it on.

I have a 2002 Ultra Classic, with the Big Bore Stage II, with the SE 203 cam. I put Vance & Hines big shot duals on it back in 2006, but they got where they were too loud even with the quite baffles, so I got a set of stock headers for a 2008 off of EBay and running stock mufflers now. I also got a set of SE Tourning Mufflers off EBAy which will be here Friday so I may wait until the weekend to do everything at once. As I ride almost everyday here, it's a little cold in the mornings, but as long as it's not raining I'm okay with riding.

Adjusting Timing

Got the Fuelmoto Jackpot stainless header pipe. It has both the 12mm and the 18mm bungs.
Put it in with the 12mm 02 sensors till I could git the Thunder-Max.
Thunder-Max came in. Took out the 18mm plugs and put the wide band 02 sensors in and hooked up the Thunder-Max.
It would take about 5 miuntes to take the seat off and put the factory ECM back in.
They another 5 minutes to change back to the Thunder-Max.
