Person asks "what are ya dying from?" North west person says "I don't know I ate healthy, excersized, didn't drink too much, slept good doesn't make sense. Same person asks a NYr. "I ate lots of great pizza pie, drank a ton, plenty of sex, ate a bunch Coney Island hot dogs and funnel cakes I enjoyed life . Who's more embarrased?

Went out to the local tavern with friends tonight and we ate BBQ burgers and drank lots of beer. Then jumped on the bike and rode home, that was fun in the twisties :wacky:

One beer while riding is my limit. I found this out many years ago and survived thank God. Had a few beers one night then got on my GS1100ex and realized I was going 120 approaching some S turns that I couldn't possibly manage even when sober. The first to the left is a sweeper that can suck ya in but then the road gets steep down hill to a tight right. I slammed on the brakes before them and barely made the first turn. Scared the bejeezus outta myself.

Normally when I'm out I don't even drink one beer while on the bike. Friday night has been the Tavern night for me and several guys I know for a few years now. Usually my limit is 3 beers for the evening along with dinner then after dinner we usually drink a cup of coffee. By the time I leave I'm pretty sober and only have a very short distance to ride, like less than a couple miles. Last night only had two beers and dinner.

Sometimes some of the other guys will have Whisky shots with beer, not me I cannot do those and don't see how a couple of them can. I quit drinking like that years ago.

They have check points around here all the time trying to catch the drunks. I know all the usual spots they lie in wait, but sometimes they try a new one. I've been stopped twice and both times I was dead sober.

The cops are really cracking down hard on drunk drivers around here.

That sounds like good advice coming from your doc, FLHT. See my new avatar of the shop? We sit on the porch when the weather is nice and smoke the occasional cigar and sip good whiskey.

120? I had experiences similar to that as a young man but never that fast!
