I had the Ride On put into my tires and man it is great. Best system for balancing the wheel yet.

I found out why it costs so much to change my rear tire. I just did my own rear wheel removal, had a new D401 mounted and put the wheel on myself. Holy Crap! Two - three hours labor. Next month the front will be a breeze.

Try mounting up that new big fat rear tire yourself. What a pain and the weight is a killer. One time I used a floor jack to lift the tire up into the bike, worked pretty good. Last time I had the dealer do it as they had a labor special during the winter. :D

I got a sears motorcycle jack for doing my tires

Don't even think about using my lift table

Got a dealer that will pull the back wheel , take off the tire, furnish a new 180x16 back tire, mount & balance it and put it on the bike for 228.00 walk our the door
I will drive 100 miles and let em do it

I thought that CB has the same rear tire as we do? He has an 11 bike, should be the same size.

For that price I'd drive 200 miles! I have the good sears jack also.

They will not give my buddy with a 10 CVO street glide with the 180-65-18 the same deal on his odd ball tire

    A cvo street glide don't have a 16" tire

We only have one dealer that does it for that price
And they take the tire off the bike and everything
They got my tire business. Screw taking the tire off for that price

I see on Dennis Kirk that Michelen is in the game with a 180/65/16. Commander III. At only $177

Wife's Edge has Michelins on it. They have 23k and the sidewalls are totally, completely covered with cracks. I went to 3 dealers and then contacted Michelin. They blame it on 1. Me 2. Car washes 3. Armor all pick one. Owning cars for 56 years I never had this problem. They say not to worry "it's not structural."
F them and All their French f n products.
