Nice pictures Alex, so the lake is still froze, how think is the ice? Heard on the news that the Arkansas will be getting to flood stage shortly down through Salida and down the canyon toward Pueblo, Pueblo resevior is already full.
We'll be getting up your way a little later this month, I'll let you know and maybe we can have lunch at the Coyota.

Saturday was a great day.....250 miles and saw only 5 cars. Climax was still buried in snow even though the temp was 60, but must still be freezing every nite cuz the ice on Purdy Lake is still 24" thick.

Sunday I was climbing some rocks behind my house, and fell about 15'. Going to the doc today....all black and blue on chest and stomach.

Took a ride from Long Island west to Port Jervis, NY to meet with my brother and friend who rode up from Florida. From there we rode to Lake George , NY for the annual Americade Bike Week. Whille waiting for them I took a ride along Route 97 that follows the Delaware River where this photo was shot. Weather was unusual for the week, 90's and 80+ humidity. Americade was good but looks to be in trouble due to town greed.
The Geico Bike by Paul Jumior Designs was at the Geico Booth.

Here are a couple pics from today going into the Hell's Canyon Dam and area. There was 25 miles of total mind blowing corners. Only
One half mile straight stretch in the entire road.

The paint is awesum. The bike is pretty neat however the welds on the frame and handlebars weren't smoothed (blended in) which I thought cheapened the bike.

Only on TV. It looks really great and blows the old man's (I should say Jason's and Rick's) bike away. The Geico Insurance Company had a booth among the other vendors at the Americade and they displayed the bike as an attention getter.

Howdy folks. Sorry I dropped off the map for a few days, but ended up in the hospital after seeing my doc because of a fall I took last week. He said I ruptured my spleen and had to go into surgery right then. Went to the hospital and had both spleen and appendix removed. Aparently, we don't need those anyway, but they are dangerous when ruptured.

Was released from hospital today, and feeling very sore. Will be staying in bed for a few more days. No travel for awhile either, so have to postpone my trip to Canada. I'll try to keep you updated.

Lost my appendix in 1970. Other then an awful gas problem since then I haven't missed it. Very embarassing when in public places. They said that the appendix helps remove the gas from the intestinal tract. The gas problem probably will start in a week or two. Good luck.

Seriously though, I'm glad to hear your on the mend. Back then the rehab time was 2 MONTHS! Things certainly have changed.
