Good word choosing chuck - "grazed". Now as for the T&A's, I won't bore you with the goriness of those critters.
    Have a GREAT day folks!!!!!!!!!!!

Man today was another great day. Best one so far.

I'm rockin. Can still feel the staples and in pain.
    Still wear out real fast.

But this has made me more humble .
It makes life slow down and makes you look at things differently.

Now that I'm not sick , i'm enjoying coming back.
Enjoying more time with the Old Lady.
Without her I probaly wouldn't be here.

Thanks for all the support Rednecks. It was greatly appreciated.:D

Alrighty, here goes. It really ain't that bad. The T&A's are our bodies first line of defence against bad "bugs" that go in out mouth and/or nose. When they grab onto something either on their surface or from the blood, they trigger a repsonse to rid us of the problem which results in them becoming inflammed. So with that finding, many physicians have started not removing them as quickly as 3-4 decades ago. If the tonsils start having abscesses, then they need to come out. The adenoids normally are absorbed by the body in the early teen years because they are no longer needed.

I bet your day is complete now.

Wish I had some of your warm weather up here in NE Tenn. It was 28 degrees this morning so that made for a cool ride in but it's supposed to be high 30's this afternoon then get back up to 50 tomorrow so I'll have a couple of good "ride to work" days before the snow that's forcast for this weekend.

Cardboard, it's sounds like you're making progress. Just don't rush things and give yourself time to heal - but you can still go out and shine on the bike. Might even start it up and listen to the rumble.

I'd have to wait till this weekend and then have somebody to pull the monster out from inbetween the boat and wall to clean it.
I was gonna was and wax it before this happened, but everything including the rain messed it all up.

Just wait, Chucktx will be moving to Tennessee to spend the winters with you.
I will be staying here trying to keep warm.

We're supposed to get some snow this weekend. Hopefully not too much though. Tell you what - the older I get, the warmer I like it. If I'm this way at 61, wonder what a few more years will bring. Anyhow cardboard just give it time and take car of yourself.
Chucktx, you and carboard (and everybody else for that matter) come on up to ETn and we'll ride the Snake. A guy at the Harley shop told me that the Snake was more of a challenge than the Dragon. Said that the curves on the Dragon were elevated a lot more. Now I'm not sayng that some of the curves on the Snake are sharp switchbacks but I was going through one and noticed the back of the bike in front of me looked familiar. Looked at the tag and it turned out (have you guessed it) it was the back end of my bike. Now that's a fairly sharp turn.
Maybe when they have the Smokie Mountain Motorcycle event, we can get together down there. It's only about 2 hours down I-81 then across I-40 for a short jaunt before getting off on the a state road.

Everybody be safe and take care. Cardboard, you just get better.

I'm lookin forward to gittin a whole bunch of staples taken out.
Then I hope some pain goes away.
I probaly won't be riding till Feb.
Ain't gonna push anything and hurt myself and set myself back farther.

And if its 18* outside I got to have a fever before I want to ride.:D
