Rode my bike to Texas from sept 24 to oct 4. 2400 miles. Stopped at barber motorsport museum in birmingham, ala and bonnie and clyde museum in gibsland,LA. Rode the first day in torrential rain of BETA storm. Rest of the trip was perf3ct. My ass bone still hurts. Was supposed to go to alpine, texas another 600 miles but buddies bike broke and turned into a four day shit show to repair it. Bike broke in Minden,LA but got as far as tyler, texas at the lone star hd shop. They didnt have regulatir so had to go back 100 miles to three states hd in bossier,la so decided to go home from there.

I"d like to ride or drive on the track, you can't really see it all without walking past
quite a bit of the exhibits a little quickly or you're not going to ride far when you leave.

When the electrical system failed in Minden,LA it was sunday. Local HD shop,Three States, was 28 miles away was closed sunday and monday.

the locals recommended a local indy. What a f’ing joke. Contacted him Monday came by late tuesday to pick it 7p. Said he’d have in ready in the morning. Got it back late wednesday. Wrapped a wire charged 400$.

Hit the road and its still broke. Rode it 128 miles hoping bike wouldnt die, to a buddys house but because we got it so late and didnt start malfunctioning till later local tyler,tx hd shop...lone star was closed. It was only 12 miles away but once there it took them three hours to tell us they didnt have the regulator and had to go backwards 100 miles to the other hd shop in Bossier,LA...THREE states HD which we passed but bike was running okay at the time.

Once there we decided enough. The next 700 miles going west was gonna be desert and under the circumstances none of us wanted to take the chance of being broke down in the middle of no where. Louisianna swamps and missippi deltas were bad enough going home.

That sucks, hopefully he paid the indy with a CC and can charge him back...
$400 for not fixing the problem, I"d be on the phone to stop the charge asap
should call him and tell him what his "fix" costs you guys.

da'Rona has effed up parts supply everywhere, companies that make that stuff were closed for months, so the supply for new manufacturing, service and parts all over is short.

Least you were not stuck in the north east, just working away at your old job!
