Yes, but those posts were also around the time that I was chasing other stuff as well. I didn't want to add something like the V-Ductor until I had all of my other issues taken care of, just something more to complicate what was happening.

I now have one and I received a really good deal on it too so I will give it a whirl. I am confident that it will perform to expectations. :D

    :confused::wtf:

#38 didnt respond to suggested remedies...

I reread the thread and didn't see any suggested remedies to him posted.....I asked earlier in this thread if it was possible he had too big a pilot jet and the added velocity of the V-Ductor drew even more fuel from a too big jet could have been his problem....whatdaya think??

Johnny, I think you'll be pleased...if the carb is dialed in properly before you add the V-Ductor,you'll notice a MPG increase and better throttle response after installation,if there is an airflow restriction or improper jetting that's when your unseen problems magnify and become known.JMHO.

My bike goes in Monday for 300 mile dyno and oil change on my 95" kit - mech has agreed to dyno with V-Ductor and without. I believe this will prove a definite improvement in throttle response and will see on the HP aspect!
I will say my gas mileage has suffered with the V-Ductor but only because of the WOT disease that I suffer from!! But then again I have yet to go through a tank of gas with mileage in mind  :roflmao: :roflmao:

I just got my V-Ductor in the mail. Now if I could get some decent weather so I can compare the milage, I would be very happy. :D

Boy, that is a small part, now I have to cruise down to New Ulm MN so I can get some gaskets for my intake. Good time to check out that milage.

Nope, haven't installed it yet. I am waiting until I get the gaskets that I need which only requires a 45 min ride, then I am going to check the fuel mileage then I am going to install the V-Ductor. After that I am going to do another ride and then compare.

ride it about 3 or 4 times, same route, same way average mileage

Then change it and ride the same route 3 or 4 times the same way
    you rode the first time.

Tank to tank variances in filling, combined with variances in your riding style
over one tank to one tank is inconclusive...jmo

I don't know about the rest of you but I'm more into what the performance is after installing the V-ductor. Gas mileage is secondary.

I suppose that someone with a gas gauge on their ride would say that.

My gas gauge is not even close to being accurate so like you I judge it by the miles I've ridden and I know pretty close when its time to fill her up. I also have a reserve valve to turn if I go over that and hope there is gas within the next 40 miles. :D

The V-ductor won't make that huge of a difference on the mileage, but it should help some. However with the V-ductor its hard to get good fuel mileage with wanting to crank it on all the time, especially so on my Springer.
My Springer by the way is no canyon carver, the Ultra is way better for that.:D

my gauge quit working back in 08, to much old school here I just check how many miles and plan ahead for the next fill up, around town it don't matter anyway there are gas stations all over. I've run out before on a trip and it gives ya something to talk about forever.

Exactly, that is why I need to be conscience of what kind of mileage I get. A lot of towns here in my area do not carry the higher octane fuel that I need. Like you said, in the town that I live in, who cares, but I do take this scooter out for some long rides.
