Rollers are upper valve train, I don't think it will help
you gain much power or quiet but it will reduce your
    wallet thickness.

Sound travels on HD's sometimes hard to locate the source

Are you hearing a lot of ticking?

There are a lot of threads on the interwebs about rocker arm end play
too much space and you get noise, too little and it binds.

    Lifters can make noise,

OK thanks decided to leave well enough alone. No not a lot of ticking just the usual noises going to turn up radio and save funds for beer time

Baggers tend to make it sound worse than it is,
sounds bounce off the inner fairing etc.

Glad it worked out, hope the dyno numbers look good
