Sometimes we need a bigger plate to be sure! You got the right attitude and that goes a long way towards healing.

Didn't know you had all that goin' on Cowboy...
I sure hope you don't have to go to the aftermarket for new parts...factory originals are the best:D
Good luck on a speedy and full recovery...

Thanks lucifer , yes I'am staying with the original parts as long as I can :) Doc said to do what I can but don't push it to hard , so that's just what I'am doing , my limit is not much in the right leg , so I have to push it just a bit to keep the it from locking up

We be getting a lot of rain today and going to get colder for the forseeable future. No rides for awhile, so I have time to build a nice new bike ramp. Going out to the shop this evening and start the Beast up. I need to hear the roar of the motor and smell the exhaust.:D

Winds were blowing so hard in the Columbia River Gorge that huge areas of Portland and surrounding cities have no power and the temps are getting down to 30 and below. Winds were up in the hi 70s in the Gorge. The Gorge is well known and famous for wind surfing during the summer months.

Toward the end of winter, in March, we'll see a general warming trend with average temps in 40s at night and 60s in the daytime. I think I'm gonna apply for a job at WITN as a weatherman!

January & February are our coldest months here. Today it's supposed to reach 65, but it's soggy and wet everywhere. Gonna try and talk my welder buddy into taking me into town to get my plywood & 2x4's. He likes to eat out, so I'll buy him lunch at the Classic Cafe, which has an old Seeburg jukebox that plays 45's, and retro posters & signs and 40's and 50's memorabilia.

Yea, calling for flurries to inch here, high low/mid 30s next two days. Earlier was hearing low 40s Friday, but at 33* for high, may have to wait a day or two to ride. :(

Sort of working around a medical schedule here too. I had a bowel resection about 2 weeks ago and one out of twelve nodes was positive for cancer so I start chemo therapy towards the last of this month for 6 months. I hope to be finished in time for the ride to the wall or at least work it in between treatments.:)
