Happy Birthday CB! I wonder how many of us felt the same as you? "I never thought I'd make it to this age". I'm in your camp.

It's interesting. Many of the men in our generation will answer the same. Unlike our parents who worked hard, planned families, and looked forward a long productive lives and to retirement. I think it was the Atomic bomb drills in elementary school, assasinations, 'Nam just gave us a shorter view on life.

My wife's Maternal Granma is 96! and sharp as a tack. She reads book after book, watches all the political talk/news shows and is very very up to date. She writes to us from VA weekly and writes smaller than I can see she doesn't wear glasses either! My wifes Paternall Granpa lived to 95 and played gold almost everday until he died. My wife's dad is 75, rides a deluxe FAST rock climgs, rollerblades, runs and lifts weights! So, needless to say someday in the future he'll probably inherit my Fatboy!
