You all know that up the northerly direction we have seasons, one is called winter (thats for you texans in t shirts:D) we have had over 30+ inches of snow out at the house before halloween, was snowed in for 4 days (it was nice) then I left for work and its 50-60-even 70+:banghead:. Well I pulled a fast one on mother nature, I am home and its 50-60's, I didn't hesitate, I finished my "home work" and ran to the shop, kicked the tire, pulled the oil stick, stradled up and nothing.....I mean nothing.chased down the jump pack, removed the seat, checked for problems, hooked up and low and behold life. only rode about 75 to 80 miles, but it cleared the mind, and today is a new day. fix the hot tub and I'm outta here:cool:

Here in "Tropical Minnesota" we've been waking to low 30's but have warmed to upper 40's as the day progresses. Kind of funny to see people all bundled up to walk around staring at me on the bike wearing a hooded sweatshirt and smiling from enjoyment as I roll by. Very few bugs, but the deer are everywhere...

way out yonder past the last light in
the city bout a mile or so on the right

    down by the barn

last time ol Mac piled some wood out for the fire
it's a low spot by the barn (far nuff away)

where you're close to the lake
his orange groves just up above it about a
    10 ft incline

    soaks that wood with gas
figured if too much wasn't enough
then way too much was ok

    had some chairs around it
    ol blake walks up
    pops out a match
    tosses it in the wood

only it didn't get to the wood
    when we heard
    phooooooooooooooooom!

and saw flames shoot out around the chairs
    kinda a reverse mushroom
then they sucked back into the logs

    nice boom too

    the fuel fumes were
    just hanging around ankle level
held down by the area's layout

    and the cool humid air.

    Don't think blake will
    light the fire tonight though
    LOL

It got up in the mid 50's today so I got the new bike out for a short ride and like always, any ride is a good ride. Anyhow that 103 is really beginning to loosen up.
I knew it had more torque and power but man was that a rush when i twisted the grip a bit!! The 96 was good but it never felt like that.
Supposed to get to the 60's tomorrow so it'll be a bit cool going to work at 6A (36 deg.) but it'll still be a good ride and then at 4P the ride home.............
