    Ft Polk is the same place my Dad went to 60 years ago. That must be an old base.

    If'n you was in the Army you went to one of 2 places.
    Ft Polk Louisiana or Ft Jackson South Carolina.
    I did Basic and AIT at Ft Jackson.

    I did basic training at Ft Jackson SC also. Never been to POLK, didn't ever feel the need to go there.....my guess is that it will be OLD worn out part of the base that the training is at....but hard to say. I will know in July!
