The Brothers In Arms MC I rode briefly with a few weeks back are all tough as nails and as kind as a person can be when it comes to helping others. The exemplify my idea of what bikers are. I agree with FLHT, a big heart doesn't mean you're soft, just that you're a big enough person to care about others too. and to me, "others" includes animals.

Here's a group of "Real Bikers" from NYC I have a lot of respect for,and fits into the "Don't mistake my kindness for weakness" phrase..if I lived there I'd definitely be a member

Hey guys im real sorry for the republican comment that started all of this . i was just being a smart ass and hell boy was correct this thred was about a what it is to be a true biker ./ Most if not all true bikers a very self less type of guys tend to do what ever it takes to help a brother out . will open the door to there home and put a meal on the table for ya . come over and wrench with ya to get ya back on the road so to spend time with ya riding . will send ya parts in the mail and not even know ya personally . but willing to help ya with your build . pray for your familiy when there in bad health . meetup with ya hundreds of miles away just to have a meal with ya . just an all around true person . tends not to keep anything back and speaks his mind and will back a brother up at any point . tends to like cold beer cigars/ marlboros and chrome . and prefers harlydavidson bikes . tends to truley not wear harley davidson clothes can be found in levis or wrangler jeans . work boots ! and is found in shed or garage wiping polishing and or wrenching on his bike at any time of day.
