Oops! Can't take it back.:roflmao: I've been all over the Pacific Coast but I regret to say I never saw the Painted Hills. Remember seeing the sand dunes in Oregon, which I thought was unusual for that part of the country.

I loved that ride back today. The 5 of us moved pretty well together. To bad there were some cars and pickups in the way slowing us down. But then it's always fun blasting around them:D
Maddogs a pretty good guy to ride with to. We ride a lot alike and like the way he watches out for others riding with us. I think we'll have many more rides together.
Boy sure cooled down after getting home, some dark clouds have moved in and looks like we could get some rain tonight.

Here is a description of the Ring of Fire that was mentioned. That volcano (MT Saint Helen's) is only about 40-50 miles from us as the crow flies. I'll never forget it, pretty scary and yet pretty exciting at the time.

You know how fuggin hard it is to hold an 18 foot long pole
up with the 3500 PSI coming out and hit a 6 inch wide beam
and not spray out the screens?

    Dang I'm tired...

And I gotta do the outside now... Thank god it got dark...

Went shooting with Olbill yesterday, was a real workout, then we had to climb this long steep grade to get back out all in 65F heat. Man we had to stop at a Subway for a turkey sandwich just to recuperate. Today got hot with 70 degrees, killer days. :D:D:D

    You're so Badddd.
It has been warmer than normal here. In the 90's in the day and low 60's at night supposed to be in the low 100's tomorrow. We are thinking of going to Arizona to cool off.

that's where we're going. going to look at property, houses, modulars whatever, some of them look pretty good and not tohigh priced either.
May find me a house on stilts and park under it.
only thing is there an't much grass around there.

No grass is a fact, very little. I really like the town of Prescott better than Prescott Valley. Lot of good riding in that area of AZ.

The colors of the Painted Hills rival those in Utah, but Utah's still got the best rocks.

Yesterday was super up till about 3:30 pm when thunderstorm rolled in. Morning was 80* and sunny, started off at 72* early. Rode over Sam's Gap to Erwin Tenn, then back down through Tenn and NC mountains... 2 lane back roads... here are a few pix from overlook just past Flag Pond Tenn.
