Well,,, I know they're ugly........... does V&H make Big Shot Longs for your limited ?
Seen/heard them on an '08 Ultra, nice. I had Big Ovals on mine for awhile, sounded good, not overly loud, but don't know about the Monsters.

What is ugly the monster ovals.......... that are on the street Glide

The other pipes don't have the factory heat shields over them.

I put the V&H True dual system with the Monster Ovals on my '08 Ultra and I love them. Nice and mellow around town and have some bark when I am out in the country and not going to bother anyone.

I can't complain too much the bike seems to have plenty get up and go for me. I like the look of dauls over the single pipe look.

Got a buddy that is super peticular about his bike and dynoing it.
He got a set of True Duals and reinhearts.
    Had them dynoed.
The dyno man said he had lost power with the true duals.

KNow a lot of folks are happy with them.
Think Chucktx has em on his bike.
The X pipes are performing better than a true duals.
Check with Fulsac . Don't even think theysell true duals.

The street Glide photo with the V&H Headers and the Monster Ovals is what I have on my bike. Yea, they are a bit big but not as bad as those S&S large mufflers. The sound is good, kind of on the mellow side but you can still here them. I get 106 foot pounds with that set up.

Sorry chuck, don't think they look like old VW exhaust. :( I had em on my other bike when I sold it and bought the 2011 Limited. Beats having to buy new mufflers again.
If I had stock pipes on the bike I would send them off to that place that fixes em up so they sound better.
I still got my stock exhaust pipes just incase and have thought about sending them out to that place, can't think of their name off hand.

Got most of the money back today from where I returned the Spyke 1.4 Kw Starter.
Took it and orderd the Fuel moto Stainless header pipes that has both the 12mm 02 sensors and the 18mm 02 bungs.
Will be using the 12mm bungs for now.

Yer lookin at where they took the cross over pipe and put it under the frame to take a lot of the heat off you.
The header pipe I bought will git my stock heat shields and you can't tell any difference in the way my bike looks. Look at my signature picture.
